1. How do you ship my order out?
We use the Australia Air Express Overnight Service to ship your order in Australia. It takes approximately 2-3 business days, depending on customer location, i.e. customers in remote country areas may experience a delay of 1-2 additional days.

2. How much does shipping cost?
Your freight charge is calculated by state destination, size and weight. We will not process the final amount on your nominated card until you have received a confirmation email from us outlining you freight costs and options. Unlike other sites we do not make money on freight charges however we appreciate the urgency you may have for some products and will find the fastest way to get your product to you within a budget that suits you.

3. How long does shipping take?
We generally aim to have your order to you in 2-4 working days. There will be times when this will not be achieved due to stock or shipping issues. You have our commitment that we will do our best to get your order out to you as soon as possible.

4. Is there a credit card surcharge on orders?
No, we do not charge any additional surcharge for paying with credit card.

5. Why didn't I receive an order number when paying by Paypal?
We have a security feature on our site which times out the Paypal payment pages if it is not completed in 5 minutes. This is to stop other people from using or viewing your confidential Paypal details. If you have completed the Paypal payment outside of 5 minutes and have not received an order number, please contact our sales staff so that they can process your order. 6. Do you ship internationally?
No. At the moment we only ship within Australia and to New Zealand. Our next targets our the U.S. and Europe. We ship via DHL International Express to NZ which takes approximately 3-5 business days. Delivery is by DHL International Express and takes around 3-5 business days. Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $25 regardless of order size. All large or heavy items are subject to additional courier charges. Cost is dependant on dimensions, weight and destination. These charges are added on after you have made your order, however if you would like a specific quote on freight please email your request.

7. Why should I order online with KOM, rather than by telephone or fax?
  • Secure : we pay $500 to Thawte to secure all credit card transactions
  • Faster : Phone orders take 2 more days due to manual process, whereas ordering online puts it straight into the queue

8. Can I trust KOM for purchases online?
Absolutely! Security is our major focus in the KOM online processing division, and no credit card details or personal information is disclosed to any third party- GUARANTEED. We have a Thawte secure certificate which means that all information is secure when ordering. KOM is also a member of Australia's Internet Industry Association (www.iia.net.au). Many user organisations, schools and churches link to this website as a sign of recommendation and trust.

9. What's the best way to order with KOM?
Ordering over the KOM website is the fastest and easiest way to place orders. These orders go straight to our processing team who are on standby to fulfill new orders. We also take fax, phone and mail orders but due to manual data entry required, these may take 1-2 days longer.

10. What is the best way to contact KOM?
Email! Although we try our best to get back to everyone, due to busy times this can be a challenge. The best way for you to find out about products is to first read the product specifications, then contact us. We prefer email because we can answer them faster than phone calls.

11. How do I write a product Review?
Simply go to the product page, then press the "Review" button that you will find usually in the middle of the page. That will take you to the Review Product page, then click the "Write Review" button. You need to be a registered member to right a review.

13. Do you provide Tax Invoices?
Yes, we are a law-abiding Australian company that complies with GST laws. Every order is accompanied with a Tax Invoice that lists our ABN/ACN and GST prices charged.

14. What happens if I order the wrong product?
We suggest to customers to be sure of the products they order from us. If the packaging has been damaged KOM's return policy states that a 20% restocking fee will be charged to cover the cost of reselling this second hand item.

15. What are KOM's Office Hours?
Monday - Friday : 9am - 5.30pm (Sydney Time) (Shopping website open 24 hours)
Saturday : 9am - 5pm (Website open 24 hours)
Sunday : 10am-4pm (Website open 24 hours)

Please Note: The website can receive orders 24 x 7, however technical questions and order status emails are only answered Mon-Friday 9-5pm .
